Luna
Due to the excellent conformation and temperaments of the Metropolis Avant litter, having successfully campaigned and titled 3 Vizlsas from this litter (including Ch Metropolis Avant Tout and RUBISS Ch Metropolis Avant Centaurus,), a repeat mating was undertaken producing Metropolis Luna and 9 siblings in late April 2014.
Luna is an enthusiastic and independent minded girl who responds well to firm leadership and is full of joy.
Luna stayed with Metropolis for a year in 2016 while her owner was in the US, and produced a litter of beautiful calm pups sired by Monsieur.
Sasha
Sasha has all of her mother Tutti’s good qualities with less selective hearing! Sasha has the light footed effortless movement of her dam, and reflects the Hungarian influence of her sire, NZ Ch Ponsonby Pinball Wizard, and has proven to be an easygoing loving family pet, and a dedicated mother who produces elegant easygoing pups.
Sasha lives as a family pet, and is an important member of our breeding program.
Lilly
Lilly was the beloved family pet of a young woman as well as showing very successfully for us. She had a soft temperament, and wanted only to be with her humans and please them.
Sadly she contracted a stomach bacteria in the Northern Territory which stripped her intestines of the ability to absorb nutrition properly, and ultimately led to her death at age 6. Lilly showed typical vizsla stoicism and seemed to be the only one who did not realise the seriousness of her condition.
She was one of our favourite dogs to show because she was so easy to handle and enjoyable to be with. She is greatly missed, and lives on through her offspring in the Superstar litter.
Ice
While we will not breed from Ice due to a range of factors, she achieved great success in her show career, with the highlight being:
RUNNER UP BEST IN SPECIALTY and BITCH CHALLENGE – HUNGARIAN VIZSLA CLUB OF NSW October 2019 under Mr Steward Cummings (Ireland).
Her sister Fire was pick of the litter, and has produced some beautiful and well loved offspring, including Seraphina.
Fanta
Fanta is a daughter from the first litter of Paloma, sired by Opus. Much of her temperament seems to come from her grandsire Picasso, who was confident that he was in control of every situation.
Fanta has a total “Look At Me” personality, and is not perturbed by noise or crowds or anything we have been able to discover!
Demonstrating far reaching reach and drive consistent with her pedigree, in her early show career Fanta has consistently placed in sweepstakes and won Baby Puppy in Group at the Lake Macquarie All Breeds Show under Mr A Hudono (Indonesia) at only her second show.
Seraphina
Seraphina is an eager to please, easy to manage bitch, whose rather prominent forechest, shining russet gold coat, and well angulated physique is often remarked upon.
Judges have commented on the extent of her scissor bite, while still possessing the required blunt muzzle. She is the first daughter of Opus that we bred and have retained, and attained her Australian championship easily in strong competition.
Her mother is Fire, and her manner is a pleasing blend of both her parents’ tractability.
Hosanna
Hosanna is one of the most intelligent vizslas we have known. Like her sire, Picasso, she prefers to be negotiated with, rather than being told what to do!
Hosanna has a keen sense of humour, and while she is easy to handle if you realise that she is always thinking, every photo of her shows her intelligence and awareness of her environment in her expression. At home she is known for her crafty manoeuvres such as hiding until all the other dogs are put out at night, and then presenting herself as having managed to stay inside. She is also known as the peanut butter bandit, skilled in swiping peanut butter off any spoon or finger!
Paloma
Paloma is sister to Nexus, and is enthusiastic about everything. Paloma enjoys swimming, shoving her nose into your hand from behind, and sitting on top of you on the sofa if you let her. Like her mother Beaucoup, she is very light on her feet and has lively animated movement with notable reach and drive.
Her biggest win to date is

Joie
Joie is one of the best structured dogs we have bred, and combines a loving personality with a lot of enthusiasm and joie de vivre.
Joie is a very affectionate, easygoing dog. She is also very athletic and determined, and sees any hose as an invitation to leap and snap at the water.
After having 2 litters, we rehomed Joie at the age of 3 ½ to take up life in Lavender Bay in Sydney. Joie was alot of fun to have around, and rehoming her was a hard decision that is part of being a responsible breeder.
Fire
Fire is very similar in personality and mothering style to her mother, Ch Kimlise La Cygne. She is always happy, very responsive and eager to please, and loves diving into waves and swimming. Fire personifies the breed standard characteristics of being robust and medium boned, lively, gentle-mannered and fearless.
It took 5 years to successfully obtain the semen and be able to breed Fire and her sister RUBISS Ch Metropolis La Carte Blanche (AI), and both were well worth the wait.
While vizsla’s eyes are meant to be a shade darker than their coat, it must be remembered that eye colour can take a couple of years to darken from a lighter colour. Swan, Fire, Tutti and several other of our dogs have demonstrated this. As you look through their photos, you will notice their eyes darkening as they age.
