Monsieur is also extremely athletic and coordinated, being a master at dodging having peanut butter ‘booped’ onto his nose, and being able to run and leap at high speed without ever running into anyone. His playful nature is enjoyed by all the other dogs at Metropolis, with ‘pile on Monty’ being a favourite game – Monty runs, the bitches chase him and leap up to grab his wither to try to bulldog him. This is an exciting game with much cheering from the crowd! As a sire, Monsieur reproduces his angles but the size and bone of the pups is dependent on the dam
In 2014, Monsieur was ranked no 3 vizsla in NSW and within the top 10 vizslas in Australia.*
In 2015 Monsieur was ranked No 1 Vizsla Breed Challenge in NSW (dogzonline pointscore).
In 2016 Monsieur won Metropolis’ first ever
DOG CHALLENGE, PURINA SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW 2016 under Mrs A Carlström (Sweden).

Monsieur began his show career winning Baby Puppy in the NSW Hungarian Vizsla Club Specialty Show in October 2013, under Judge Mr P Achtergael (Belgium).
He won Puppy Dog of Breed at the Purina Sydney Royal Easter Show 2014, and was beaten for Puppy of Breed by his sister, Beaucoup. He was also shortlisted in Puppy Sweepstakes, handled by Nikki Zullo.
